HISTORY

 

Faculty training and retraining of doctors organized in the structure of the Samarkand State Medical Institute by order of the Republic of Uzbekistan Minister of Health of 29 September 1980. The first dean of the faculty was appointed Izrail Gavrilovic Priev. Then, the faculty leadership was entrusted to the doctor of medical sciences, professor A.M.Aslanova (1983 - 1992 gg.). From 1992 to 1995 he worked as the dean of the faculty PhD, associate professor A.A.Davidyan - he founded the department of therapy and prior to 2007, was her head. In 1995 - 2008 years. dean of the faculty was MD, Associate Professor, Head of Neonatology course HFC K.R.Dilmuradova. In 2008, this position was appointed MD, Ph.D., associate professor L.R.Agababyan, which worked until 2011. From 2011 to 2015. Faculty supervised PhD, associate professor A.K.Shahriev. From 2015 till today the dean of the faculty is the candidate of medical sciences, associate professor Z.F.Mavlyanova.

 

According to the order of the rector of the Samarkand State Medical Institute No. 326-y on 23.03.2017, in order to further improve the system of training of health workers, ensuring continuous updating of their professional knowledge and practical skills to work with modern medical equipment and information technology, effective use of the latest achievements in the field of national and world medicine; empowerment training and retraining of practical health care professionals through the use of human resources and material and technical base of the Samarkand State Medical Institute was reorganized departments and restructuring the Faculty of Postgraduate Medical Faculty in Graduate Education Faculty.

 

At present, the structure and the amount of work the faculty of postgraduate education of the Samarkand State Medical Institute is a leader among institutions of postgraduate and additional professional education.

Of faculty members of the Faculty has 31 academic degree and rank. In the departments of the faculty and the courses used in the educational process of international programs for the WHO recommendations, which will undoubtedly deepen the knowledge and skills of professionals. This program: "Bronchial asthma - a global strategy for the 21st century", "Nutrition and anemia", "Safe Motherhood", "Breastfeeding Principles", "Integrated Management of Pregnancy and Childbirth", "National Program on Immunization", "Integrated Management of Diseases childhood "and others.

 

All departments and faculty courses created Bank of tests on the basic, intermediate and final assessment of knowledge of students.

 

At the same time at the Faculty expanded training of young professionals in the clinical studies.
